Paintless dent repair removes a dent by working the metal itself back to its original shape, using specialized rods behind the panel or glue-pull tabs on the surface. Nothing is sanded. Nothing is filled. Nothing is repainted. When it’s done properly, there is no repair to find — the panel is simply the shape it was when it left the factory, wearing the paint the factory sprayed on it.
That last part is the entire value. Your vehicle’s factory finish was applied in a controlled environment and baked on; it is the single hardest finish the car will ever wear. Once a body shop sands through it, no refinish fully replicates it, and any dealer, buyer, or paint meter can tell. PDR sidesteps that trade entirely — which is why it costs less than paint work, finishes in days instead of weeks, and protects resale value instead of quietly reducing it.
We’d rather tell you no than hand you a repair that fails. PDR isn’t the fix when the paint is already cracked or chipped in the dent — working metal under broken paint makes the break worse. It’s also limited when a crease is so sharp the metal has stretched past what it will give back, or when the damage sits on a panel edge with no access behind it. In those cases we’ll tell you at the estimate, explain what the alternative is, and send you to a body shop we’d use ourselves. We’ve been in Tulsa since 1997 by being straight with people, not by taking every job that rolls in.
Dent pricing comes down to four factors: depth, size, location on the panel, and access from behind. A shallow ding in the middle of a door is our quickest work. A stretched crease across a body line on an aluminum hood is a different job entirely and priced accordingly. We’re the premium PDR shop in Tulsa and we don’t apologize for it — but against a body shop’s paint-and-filler quote, PDR usually wins on price and always wins on keeping the original finish. Our Projects page shows real repairs with real numbers, including jobs where we came in well under a body shop estimate.
Estimates are free and same-day. The fastest route: text photos of the damage to (918) 809-7438 with your year, make, and model, and we’ll get you a number before you drive over.
No — modern factory paint flexes with the metal. Working from behind doesn’t disturb it. If the paint is already broken, we’ll tell you PDR isn’t the fix.
Single dings are frequently same-day, many while you wait. Multi-panel and hail work depends on dent count and, for claims, insurer timing. You get a real timeline at the estimate.
When the technician is good, yes. Ours have decades in the metal — look at the Projects page and judge for yourself.
Yes. Every PDR repair carries our lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the vehicle.
Text a photo to (918) 809-7438 with your year, make and model. If it’s a dent, we’ll tell you whether PDR is the right fix or whether you need a body shop. If it’s paint, we’ll tell you whether it’s a detail or a correction. Free either way.
